LGU Ozamiz Boosts Street Patrol with Blessing and Turnover of 8 PNP Motorcycles

The Local Government Unit (LGU) of Ozamiz marked a significant step in enhancing the city's peace and order efforts with a Blessing and Turnover Ceremony of 8 units of PNP Motorcycles for Street Patrol. The event, held at the Ozamiz City Police Station, brought together key figures from the community to celebrate this initiative.

The ceremony commenced with a heartfelt Blessing and Dedication led by Pastor Heracleo Ozarraga, the Resident Pastor of UCCP, invoking blessings for the safety and success of the police officers who will utilize the motorcycles.

City Councilor Mars Tapayan, Chairman of the Peace and Order Council in the Ozamiz City Council, delivered a warm welcome message, emphasizing the importance of community support for law enforcement.

Mayor Indy Oaminal, representing LGU Ozamiz, officially handed over the motorcycles to the Ozamiz City Police Station, received by Police Major Dennis P. Tano, Officer-in-Charge of Ozamiz CPS. Mayor Oaminal took the opportunity to underline the LGU's unwavering commitment to supporting the Ozamiz PNP in achieving peace and order throughout the city and the entire province.

In response, Police Major Dennis Tano expressed his gratitude to Mayor Oaminal and the city officials for their continuous support. He highlighted the essential role of the newly acquired motorcycles in enabling rapid deployment of police personnel, ultimately contributing to a safer community.

Acting Provincial Director PCOL Dwight D. Monato of Misamis Occidental PPO also extended his appreciation to the Ozamiz City Officials, particularly Mayor Indy Oaminal, for the provision of these crucial motorcycles. He assured the city of the continuous support of the PNP Misamis Occidental.

The LGU Ozamiz's generous contribution of these motorcycles is poised to bolster the efficiency and effectiveness of the Ozamiz City Police Force in their mission to maintain peace and security in the area. The ceremony symbolized the strong partnership between the LGU and the PNP, working hand in hand for the betterment of Ozamiz City and its residents.
