City of Ozamiz and Other LGUs in the Province Achieve 100% Passing Rate, In a commendable display of effective governance, the local government units (LGUs) in Misamis Occidental, spearheaded by the City Government Unit of Ozamiz under the visionary leadership of Mayor Atty. Henry "INDY" F. Oaminal Jr., have achieved a remarkable feat. All LGUs in the province have successfully passed the 2023 Good Financial Housekeeping (GFH) assessment, signaling a commitment to transparency and responsible financial management.
The achievement underscores the dedication and vision of Mayor Atty. Henry "INDY" F. Oaminal Jr. and other local leaders in upholding good governance practices. Led by Working Governor Atty. To secure a passing grade in the GFH assessment, LGUs must meet specific criteria, including obtaining an unqualified or qualified most recent available Commission on Audit (COA) Audit Opinion for CYs 2021 or 2022, and ensuring compliance with the Full Disclosure Policy requirements.
